We are going to continue to face forward, correct? I am not frightened. One week until we see my father. I have... Only recently learned the way of counting days. It is strange that genuine sunlight still passes in such a clockwork way.

This is very complex, somehow.

If we are simply to write about our days, then mine went as such: I awoke early, for some reason. I thought perhaps it would give me enough time to prepare everyone a large breakfast, though I usually only prepare lunches or dinners.

However, when I opened my door, I found Simon sleeping in the hall. I left him a blanket, but I am fairly confused by the sight... I was certain he had a room of his own, and a bed, as well. Is the hall more comfortable?

I was unable to prepare breakfast; I spent the extra time this morning watching Simon sleeping, although I left before he woke.
